The Self Here and Now
In Zen teaching, it is essential to become completely one with the self that exists in this very moment.
In daily life, we often think in terms of “someday,” “somewhere,” or “someone.” As a result, we may place too much expectation on things, feel anger, anxiety, or regret. Shakyamuni Buddha transmitted us zazen as the wisdom to get along with such a moving state of our mind.
Through zazen, it is our sincere hope that many people may grasp the self that is here and now.
